Viewers may remember Terry Dubrow as The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Heather Dubrow’s spouse, and we’re ready to share a lot of interesting facts about this Real Housewives hubby. During Heather’s time on the show, which included some iconic moments, Terry would often appear as well, alongside their four children. When Terry did participate in filming with his wife, the couple often fought about his work schedule. Heather didn’t like it that he woke up early and worked during holidays. However, what bothered Heather the most was Terry’s alleged lack of parenting skills.

Since the show, Terry has gone on to make a name for himself on his own. In 2014, he starred on the E! reality TV series Botched alongside fellow surgeon Paul Nassif, who was once married to former RHOBH star Adrienne Maloof. Botched became a success, and the seventh season debuted earlier this year. Even though Real Housewives fans may know Terry as Heather’s husband, he is much more than that.

Terry Dubrow was born on September 14, 1958, in Los Angeles. He was raised by his mother and father, alongside his older brother Kevin Dubrow. Some fans don’t know that Terry’s brother was actually the lead singer of the popular metal band Quiet Riot. In 2007, Kevin sadly passed away at his Las Vegas home. The cause of death was confirmed to be a fatal overdose due to ingesting a combination of cocaine, painkillers, and alcohol (via MDDaily Record). After he graduated from high school, the now 62-year-old Terry attended the University of California’s Los Angeles School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He later went on to attend Yale University, where he received a Master’s degree to further his knowledge in the medical field. Terry later did a residency in general surgery, allowing him to become the chief resident at Наrbоr-UСLА Меdісаl Сеntеr.

He later completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the UCLA Medical Center. Thanks to all his hard work, Terry was able to become board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He also became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Besides his successes as a plastic surgeon, Terry also met the love of his life. In the late ’90s, he began dating Heather, and the two tied the knot in 1999. Since then, the couple has welcomed four children together. One of their daughters recently came out as bisexual.

Other than his thriving business and family life, Terry has appeared on several reality shows as a plastic surgeon. He was first featured in the E! series Bridalplasty. It was canceled in 2011, after one season. Three years later, Terry started another show, the aforementioned Botched, with Dr. Paul Nassif. They went on to have a spin-off called Botched By Nature, and several specials, one of which included his wife.

With Heather returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 16, viewers are excited to see Terry make an appearance as well. Filming for the new season is currently underway as Heather, who has shared lots of family throwbacks, recently shared a photo of herself with the film crew. Hopefully, viewers will finally get to see Heather and Terry’s huge Crystal Cove house. Work on that home was completed after she left the show.
