Marysol tells Page Six that news of the arrest has been difficult for her friend Alexia. “That was hard for her, obviously,” says Marysol. She says that she reached out to her Miami co-star via text, saying ,“I know that you probably just want to shut the world off and your phone is blowing up. When Peter was released from jail after the incident, Marysol explains, Alexia “felt better.” Patton additionally implied that there are details about the case that are not yet public, and that Alexia may be sharing them in the future. “She actually had some very interesting information on exactly what really happened,” says Marysol. Regarding a dispute over Alexia and Peter’s treatment of Frankie following his brain injury, Marysol claims she felt “so much pain in [her] heart.” She says that it was difficult to see Frankie listen to his family fighting about the situation. Marysol additionally expresses support for Alexia in regards to her meeting with her late husband’s former lover in an effort to find closure.

It is interesting that Marysol seems to imply that there is more to the case without elaborating much more than that. On one hand, it makes sense that Alexia may have found out some additional details about the domestic dispute during the process of bailing her son out of jail. On the other hand, Marysol’s use of the phrase “what really happened” seems to vaguely suggest some innocence or justification for Peter’s actions. Marysol seems to have intentionally left out any clear indicators of whether or not she believes Peter to be guilty, but it is clear Marysol is somewhat loyal to Alexia considering her immediate offer of support even after Peter’s legal history.
