After plenty of tense moments on Selling Sunset season 4 between Christine Quinn and Emma Hernan, their shared ex has been revealed to fans of the series. From season 1 and into season 4, Christine has chosen to choose drama over genuine connections on the Netflix series, leading to many of the Oppenheim agents rejecting her. Whether it be Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, or now Emma, Christine  never seems to tire of feuding with her co-workers.

Christine has changed in some ways since season 3, most notably becoming a mom. However, despite her old friend Heather Young hopes that having a kid would “soften” Christine, it doesn’t seem to have done that at all. In fact, she was tougher than ever in Selling Sunset season 4. No longer friends with Mary, Christine has lost all of her alliances on the series, leaving her future at the Oppenheim Group uncertain. Especially since she spent most of the most recent season feuding with a new agent and old friend of Jason Oppenheim, her boss. And all because she swears up and down that Emma was dating her ex even though she and him were reportedly engaged.

Per Us, Christine and Emma’s shared ex-boyfriend is reportedly Peter Cornell. Known for his sports career as a former Laker’s basketball player, Peter also is employed by the Oppenheim Group, in the sports and entertainment division, further complicating the already tense workplace environment. Christine maintains that she and Cornell were dating when she caught him and Emma walking down the street. Emma says that Christine verbally assaulted her at the time, which was, by the way, almost seven years ago. Emma has since moved on and Christine is married now, so it really shouldn’t matter. But Christine being Christine, it most certainly does.

Featured in promotional material for the Oppenheim Group, as seen above, it must be no secret to the other woman as to who Christine and Emma are fighting about. He could also very easily clear up the question of whether or not he and Christine were ever engaged. Towards the end of season 4, Christine tells the women that when she caught Peter with Emma, they were engaged and she had a ring or anything. She also said that she told Davina, though Davina reported that she didn’t even know Christine at the time. Christine was also reportedly living with Mary at the time and her former friend also denies ever hearing about a ring. So it’s unclear as to what is really going on here.

Hopefully, it will all be cleared up in Selling Sunset season 5, or even better, Peter will be featured on one of the spinoff series such as Selling Tampa, which is coming soon on Netflix. The Oppenheim Brothers have also announced that they are opening an office in Orange County, though it’s unclear as to whether or not the Netflix cameras will be there for the drama as well as an Orange County-based real estate series. In any case, there is still a lot to talk about when it comes to Christine, Emma, and their shared ex, Peter.

Selling Sunset season 4 is now streaming on Netflix.
