Southern Charm: Whitney Sudler-Smith’s Dating History & Relationships

Whitney Sudler-Smith, former full-time cast member and the creator of Southern Charm, is known for his playboy past. Similar to his fellow castmate, Shep Rose, Whitney enjoys being single and isn’t eager to settle down with a woman anytime soon. However, he has had his fair share of romantic relationships, even with his own castmates.

Viewers met Whitney for the first time when he created and joined the Bravo series in 2014. The first season starred him, Shep, Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, and Thomas Ravenel. Whitney was eventually demoted to a recurring role after season three, but still appears every once and a while alongside his mother, Patricia Altschul. While he was a full-time cast member, however, Whitney was often under the microscope for his dating life.

Kathryn Dennis

Before Kathryn Dennis started dating the father of her children, Thomas Ravenel, she and Whitney had an intimate relationship. During an episode of Southern Charm, the 52-year-old admitted to sleeping with Kathryn before she started dating Thomas. His revelation caused a lot of friction between the three costars. However, this didn’t prevent Thomas or Kathryn from continuing a relationship, as they welcomed two children together. A few years later, it was revealed Whitney and Kathryn hooked up once again before the start of season six.

Larissa Marolt

Shortly after his causal relationship with Kathryn, Whitney began a serious relationship with Larissa Marolt, an Austrian actress. According to Distractify, Whitney met Larissa at a dinner party in New York in 2013, and the couple hit it off right away. Not only did she win Whitney’s heart, but she also got the seal of approval from his mother, Patricia. However, it seems the couple may have split, as they haven’t taken a photo together since 2019. Fans began to notice they broke up when rumors of a relationship with Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon began to circulate. Whitney has since denied these claims.

Madison LeCroy

Earlier this month, rumors began to circulate that Whitney and Madison LeCroy were potentially dating. An onlooker saw the two hanging out at a bar in Charleston and shared the information to the popular gossip site, DeuxMoi. The fan claimed they saw the two kissing at the front of the bar, where everyone could see. Patrica Altschul shut down these rumors by tweeting “April Fools,” while Madison admitted she has a boyfriend to US Weekly. Whitney has yet to comment on the reports.

It seems as though Whitney may be a single man once again. After his casual encounters with Kathryn during the beginning years of Southern Charm and a failed long-term relationship, it seems the reality star may not be ready for a commitment. Hopefully, he will be able to bring home a nice woman he and his mother will love.
