Nick Carter, who is believed to be Crocodile on The Masked Singer season 4, has had an increasingly tumultuous relationship with his younger brother Aaron Carter. Both of these brothers know a thing or two about being in the spotlight. Nick Carter is best known as being one-fifth of the very successful Backstreet Boys band. Aaron Carter is also a singer, most notably known for his rendition of “I Want Candy” in the early 2000s. Even though the two have only been publicly feuding for just a few years, it seems like their issues date back to when Aaron was still a teenager. In 2019, Aaron started calling out his older brother multiple times on social media, causing Nick to strike back and escalate the conflict.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In September 2019, Aaron accused Nick of breaking his nose with a pie during 13-year-old Aaron’s acceptance speech at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. That same month, he re-shared a video from their family’s E! reality show, House of Carters, where Nick was shown holding Aaron by the throat and shoving him during an altercation. Just a few days later, he accused Nick of neglecting his now-deceased sister Leslie when she was in need of rehab. Aaron also appears to harbor negative feelings toward Nick because the older sibling didn’t attend his sister’s funeral after she died from a drug overdose.

The feud between Aaron and Nick Carter escalated even further in 2019 when Aaron accused Nick and Leslie of allegedly sexually abusing him, as reported by Evening Standard. Aaron also had a conversation with Melissa Schuman, who made rape accusations against Nick that were later dismissed. He then brought up a 2004 report indicating that Nick had allegedly hit his then-girlfriend Paris Hilton. On September 17, 2019, Nick and Angel Carter shared a tweet (seen below) claiming that they filed a restraining order against Aaron. The documents stated that Angel allegedly had a conversation with Aaron during which he said he thought about killing Nick’s pregnant wife Lauren Kitt and their unborn child.

Angel and Nick Carter also revealed over time that Aaron admitted to them in a text message that he suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Then, the Carter family members got particularly anxious when they saw that Aaron had purchased a handgun and a rifle and 300 rounds of hollow tip bullets. At the time, Aaron had also recently obtained a gun license and bought a 9mm handgun and two assault rifles.

Longtime fans of Nick and Aaron Carter hope for the best with these family members. Moreover, it would be great if these brothers were able to achieve some peace of mind in the near future and possibly even make amends to repair their broken relationship.
