Untitled Goose Game: Beating The Back Gardens Walkthrough

Untitled Goose Game has the player acting as the mischievous goose, torturing a quaint English Village with your antics. This walkthrough will guide you down The Back Garden, the third area in Untitled Goose Game. You’ll have two neighbors in their respective gardens to contend with this time and pushing them to argue is the key to this area. The puzzles become a little more complex but it’s nothing a goose can’t handle, especially with these tips & tricks.

Once leaving the High Street you’ll head down a little path, to the left you can see the Man’s garden behind a fence. Continue walking the path until you find some fencing that is no longer up to code. Break through and you’ll gain the access needed to continue your chaos. Between the two gardens will be a small piece of fence held up by a little yellow ribbon, removing this will let you into the Woman’s garden but if she notices it’s down, she will fix it.

Make Someone Break the Fancy Vase

These squabbling neighbors have a long history of getting on each other’s nerves and if you bring any of the Woman’s items into the Man’s garden he will throw them back over the fence. To complete this task just bring the vase over and make sure the Man can see it, he will pick it up and throw it over the fence. Smash!

Help The Woman Dress Up The Bust

The Man has a pipe, a hat, and some glasses sitting on his table. If you snatch them while he’s distracted and bring them over to the bust in the Lady’s garden she will eventually find them and place them on it.

Make The Man Spit Out His Tea

Inside the Woman’s garden is a large bell directly behind where the Man sits. You’re going to need to steal his newspaper and hide it, he will eventually start sipping on his tea. Make your way over to the bell and wait until he takes a drink. Activate it and it will scare the bejeesus out of him and give you the spit-take needed to complete the task.

Get Dressed Up With A Ribbon

In the Woman’s garden is a cute goose statue with a bow, but you’re cuter and you deserve that bow more. You need to make your way back over to the bell and activate it, this will cause the Man and the Woman to argue thus distracting her long enough to pull off your scheme.

Go and pull the bow off of the statue and drop it on the ground, drag the statue away out of sight, behind the bush works nicely, and put yourself in the spot where the statue was. Once she is done arguing with the Man, she will head back and hopefully notice the bow on the ground. The Woman will then affix the bow on you, making you the prettiest goose in the garden.

Make The Man Go Barefoot

For this task you will need to steal the Man’s slippers, the first one is easy enough. Just wait for him to start reading the newspaper and you can easily sneak up on him and steal it.

The second slipper is a little more difficult. You will have to wait for him to sip his tea, giving you a small window of time to sneak up and grab the other one. Task complete.

Do The Washing

There’s a big fountain in the lower-left corner of the Back Gardens, to complete this task you will need to grab the bra and both socks off of the Woman’s clothesline, one of the slippers off of the Man, and the soap from the back side of the Woman’s garden. Drop everything in the fountain and you got it.

Make Someone Prune The Prize Rose

This is your exit task and will be available after completing a few of the other ones.

The Man will eventually walk over and take the sign off his rose to make a no geese sign. With the sign out of the way, drag the planter to the other end of the dirt – which places it right next to the Woman’s bush.

Head to the Woman’s garden and poke at the bush until she grabs the shears to prune it accidentally cutting the rose and starting an argument. This will unlock the path to the next area.

Now that you’ve made mortal enemies of the two neighbors it’s time to relax and have a little drink at the Pub.
