A new challenge requires players to get Concert Coins in Fortnite. As the season approaches its conclusion, many players are scrambling to earn enough XP for their Battle Pass. It’s especially important since Spider-Man is one of the last pages of the pass. When looking at the Quest Tab, players will notice a new quest in the Soundwave Series tab. It requires players to collect two concert coins and will reward players with a whopping 55,000 XP and a free spray. Although, the concert coins are only available outside of the battle royale mode, meaning many players might not know where to find them.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Currently, there is an event happening in the game where players can experience a full-blown Tones and I concert. Fortnite has previously dabbled with concert shows with popular stars like Travis Scott, Steve Aoki, and Ariana Grande. There was even a way to unlock an Ariana Grande skin. Tones and I is an Australian singer-songwriter responsible for popular tracks like Dance Monkey and Fly Away. There’s even an unlockable Dance Monkey emote in the item shop.

To collect the concert coins, the player will need to start and complete the entire Tones and I concert in-game. It’s important to mention this because the concert coin will only appear at the end of the concert. The concert itself will take players about 20 minutes to complete. To access it, the player just needs to change their game from ‘Solo’ to ‘Soundwave Series Tones and I’. It will eventually lead the player into a lobby with a 90 second counter, after the counter is done the concert will begin.

The Tones and I Concert in Fortnite

This concert is much more interactive than a handful of Fortnite‘s previous concerts. With the Soundwave Series, the developers create these cinematic set-pieces that navigate the player through the album. Since the concert itself is twenty minutes long, there are a handful of different songs that play. While exploring the Fortnite concert, music notes will appear around the map. Grabbing these not only gives players something to do outside of experiencing the concert, but they also reward players with more XP.

On the bright side, players can replay the concert and go through it with friends. Fortnite removes the display names appearing above their head, making it difficult to determine who is who, but it still can be experienced together. A concert coin will appear at the end of every concert, but this challenge can only be completed once. It’s a timed challenge, meaning players should clear it out as quickly to level up fast in Fortnite. The season is scheduled to conclude in March, only leaving a few months to max out the Battle Pass.

Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
